Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRM JEEE) is the common entrance exam for Undergraduate studies in SRM Group – SRM Institute of Science & Technology, SRM University- AP & SRM University – Haryana. SRM Institute is one of the top ranking universities in India with over 38,000 students and more than 2600 faculty across all the campus. The University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras. SRM, is a deemed university located in Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India, near Chennai. SRM Institute of Science and Technology includes six campuses, out of which three are in Tamil Nadu — Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one in NCR Delhi, one in Sikkim and one in Amaravati. The institute was renamed as SRM Institute of Science & technology after that it gained as Deemed University status in 2003-2004 academic year. The University status which it had gained in 2006 was dropped in 2017 & was renamed as SRM Institute of Science & Technology. As of 2019, more than 170,000 students had appeared for the examination out of which 76,000 were called for counseling.

4.Documents required for registration
- Softcopy or scanned copy of recently taken passport size colour.
- The size of the photograph should be between 50 KB – 100 KB and dimensions- 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm.
- Soft copy of candidate’s 10th class mark list.
- Soft copy or scanned copy of the signature of the candidate with 20 KB – 50 KB with dimensions of 3.5 cm * 1.5 cm in JPG/JPEG format.
- Hall ticket & Adhaar card for the exam.
5.Exam pattern
- SRMJEEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT) online mode exam
- The test has English as its only Medium of Instruction.
- The test duration would be 2:30 Hrs / 150 Minutes
- The test analyzes the student’s ability in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude.
- However if a candidate is opting for BTech Biotechnology, he will have to choose Biology instead of Maths.
The test has all Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 4 options out of which one is correct

6.Exam Centers
SRM JEE is conducted in around 132 centers across India & 5 centers internationally. From 2017 onwards SRM has given permission to 5 international exam centers to help NRIs applying for the exam.

8.Application Process
- Any candidate who fulfills all the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam in online mode / offline mode.
- Application fee for Online application would be 1100/- as e-payment.
- The Offline application would cost 1160/- which has to take DD drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai.
- The online application form for SRMJEEE 2020 can be filled at https://applications.srmist.edu.in and pay the application fees online.
- The offline form can be obtained by downloading the application form available at the official website
Filling up Application Form:
 The steps to fill the online SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form are as follows:
 1) Registration: Register at the official website to apply for SRMJEEE 2020 by entering Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and the Phone number. The details Email ID & Phone number entered once cannot be changed. The User ID and Password will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. The Offline application can be downloaded from the site to fill.
2) Login:Â Post receiving the login credentials, log in to their accounts to fill the SRMJEEE 2020 application form.
3) Filling the application form: Fill in all the mandatory details in SRMJEEE 2020 application form. The offline form has to be filled up in Black ink pen to write & HB pencil to circle. An incomplete application/ application filled in any language other than English will be rejected.
 4) Uploading Scanned Documents: Upload the scanned copies of recent photograph and signature as per the required specifications Photo: 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm, 1 MB, Signature: 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm, 1 MB. In case of Offline application, recent photograph has to be attached.
 5) Payment of Application Fee: Make the e-payment by net banking/credit/debit card. And take the printout of filled in SRMJEEE 2020 application form for further reference.
6) Declaration certificate: A declaration has to be given to know that a candidate has entered right information.

1. Can I correct my contact details in the application form?
No, Details once submitted either online or entered offline cannot be changed.
2.Can I attempt for SRM JEE for 4th time?
No. Only 3 attempts are allowed
3.What is the minimum age limit for applying SRMJEEE?
Candidate must have completed 16 years by 31st December 2019.
4.What is the percentage of seats reserved for NRI Quota?
Nearly 15% seats in SRM University are reserved for Foreign Nationals, PIO card holders, NRI students and NRI sponsored candidates.
5.What is the relaxation given to SC/ST/BC candidates?
No reservation is given to candidates on Caste basis.
