JEE Main 2026 Session 2 online application process has been officially started by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates planning to appear for the April session must complete the application within the prescribed timeline to avoid last-minute issues.

About JEE Main 2026 Session 2
JEE (Main) is a national-level engineering entrance examination conducted by the
National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into undergraduate engineering
programs across India. Session 2 offers an additional opportunity for candidates to
either improve their performance or appear for the examination for the first time in 2026.

Who Can Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2?
1. Candidates Who Appeared in Session 1
Candidates who have already registered for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1
and wish to appear for Session 2 are not required to register again.
- Login using existing Application Number and Password
- Select course (paper)
- Choose medium of question paper
- Select preferred examination cities
- Pay Session 2 examination fee
Only the above options are editable for Session 2 candidates.
2. New Candidates (Not Applied in Session 1)
- Register as a new candidate
- Fill the complete online application form
- Upload required documents
- Pay the application fee before the deadline
New applicants are advised to carefully read the Information Bulletin for details related to
eligibility, exam pattern, exam timings, and instructions.
Mode of Application
- Applications are accepted only in online mode
- Forms must be submitted through the official JEE (Main) portal
- Offline or email-based applications will not be accepted

One Candidate – One Application
Submission of multiple applications is strictly prohibited. If a candidate is found to have
more than one application number, it will be treated as unfair means and strict action will be taken.
